About Numbriv

Free, accurate financial calculators that explain their math.

Last updated September 23, 2026

Numbriv was built on a simple idea: before you sign a mortgage, take out a loan or plan for retirement, you should be able to see the numbers clearly, for free, without handing over your email address.

Accurate

Every calculator uses the standard formulas lenders and financial planners use, and each page shows its formula.

Private

Calculations run entirely in your browser. We never see or store the numbers you enter.

Free

No sign-up and no paywall. The site is supported by advertising and clearly labeled partner links.

Up to date

We review rates, limits and assumptions regularly and show the last-updated date on every page.

How we check our calculators

Before a calculator goes live, we test it against worked examples and compare results with established industry calculators. Guides are written in plain English and reviewed whenever rules or typical rates change.

How we make money

Numbriv shows ads served by Google AdSense and may earn a commission when you use a partner link, such as a rate-comparison site. Partner links are always labeled as sponsored, and they never change how our calculators work or what their results show.

Not financial advice

Our tools are for education and planning. For decisions about your own situation, speak with a licensed professional. Read our financial disclaimer for details.
